James Henry Tolliver Jr. 70, of Birmingham, AL was called home on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at RMC in Anniston, AL. He was born to Queenie and the Late James Henry Tolliver, Sr. in Anniston AL on October 21, 1947. He attended and graduated from Cobb Ave High School “Panthers”, Class of 1965 and went on to serve in the United States Marine Corp, where he fought in the Vietnam War. After service he continued his education at Jacksonville State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and a Minor in English. He became a State of Alabama Certified Public Accountant (CPA) on May 7, 1976 and became a member of the National Association of Certified Fraud Examiners on March 7, 1990. He was also a charter member of the Eta Mu Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. He is preceded in death by: his grandparents Dave & Annie R. Tolliver and Beatrice Dennis Allen; his father James Henry Tolliver, Sr. and sister Annie Beatrice Tolliver Davis. He is survived by his four (4) children: Tangela (Robert) Levinson, James Henry (Jennifer) Tolliver III, Ashley (Alfonzia) Jackson, and Chantee Tolliver; his mother, Queenie Hines Tolliver; five (5) siblings, Dianna (Edward) Brown, Charles (Regina) Tolliver, Delleane (Lucious) McKenzie, Rose M.Tolliver-Munford and Cheryl (Elton) Hines; nine (9) grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
