Susie M. Bush was born April 25, 1938, to Robert and Nannie Miller in Talladega County, Alabama.
She was educated in the Talladega County School System and graduated from Ophelia S. Hill High School. She was a loving and caring daughter, wife, sister and aunt. Susie confessed Christ at an early age.
On January 16, 1960, Susie and Robert M. Bush were united in holy matrimony. There marriage was blessed and sustained for over 58 years.
Susie worked diligently in church as a Deaconess, Sunday School Teacher, Choir Member, President of the Missionary Society, and Sunbeam President.
Susie worked as a government employee and as a merchandise buyer for Kitchen's Department Store's Children's Department. She traveled extensively throughout the world as a military wife.
Susie was preceded in death by: her parents; her brothers, Edward "Red" Miller, Robert Miller, Jr., Sherman Miller, and Willie Miller; her sisters, Evelyn Jemison, Oradyne Archie and Marion Bell.
Loving memories will be forever cherished by: her husband Robert Bush; two sisters, Georgia Mae Brown and Alva Chatman; five sisters-in-law, Pearlie Bush, Ann Bush, Betty Miller, Mary P. Miller, and Johnnie Miller; and a host of nieces and nephews who loved "Aunt Sue" dearly; one godchild, Ciara Smith; and other relatives and friends.
