Ulma F. Marshall, III was born on May 29, 1953 to the parentage of Ulma F. “Red” Marshall in Calhoun County, Alabama.
He graduated from Bethune High School in Piedmont and attended Monroeville College. He attended Highland Health in Jacksonville, where he made numerous friends. He was an active member of Mt. Pleasant CME Church until his health began to fail.
Cherished memories will always remain with: his daughters, Corrie Dixon of Attala, Alabama and Geneva (Derrick) Woods of Gadsden, Alabama; his grandchildren, Imani Dixon, Gabrielle Dixon, Ashanti Dixon, Jomo Dixon, Jr., Deontavious Ruffin, and Deontriez Woods; his devoted aunt, Ada Prater of Piedmont, Alabama; a dear friend and the mother of his children, Cleasta Dupree; and a host of cousins and friends.
