Antonio Dewayne Murphy was born in Anniston, Alabama on March 24, 1976, to the parentage of Eddie and Bernice (Goggins) Murphy. He was the second of the first born twins to this union.
His relationship with God began at an early age at the Mount Calvary Baptist Church, where he professed his belief in God. He continued his personal relationship and journey of faith in God, later becoming a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church, where he served as a Trustee until his passing.
The earlier years of his formal education were started with his attendance at 10th Street Elementary School. He graduated from Anniston High School in 1995. He also attended Alabama A&M University.
He was preceded in death by hsi grandmother, Claudette (Glover) Goggins and grandfather, Eddie Murphy, Sr.
On April 6, 2013, Antonio was called home to be with the Lord. Leaving to cherish his memory: a loving wife, LaTonya Swain, Anniston, AL; one son, who was his pride and joy, Alexander Murphy; his parents, Bernice Murphy and Eddie Murphy, both of Anniston, AL; two brothers, Anthony (Alisha) Murphy, who was his twin, and Aaron Murphy, both of Anniston, AL; his sisters, Amy Murphy, Jordan Murphy and Katelin Murphy, all of Anniston, AL; his grandparents, Charles Goggins, Sr. and Katie Murphy, both of Anniston, AL; his uncles, Charles (Bonnie) Goggins, Terry (Vivian) Goggins and Earnest Goggins, all of Anniston, AL; his aunts, Patricia Sledge and Belinda Murphy, both of Anniston, AL; and a host of other relatives and friends.
