April Marie Britton was born on December 1, 1985 in Birmingham, Alabama to Dorothy Britton and Melvin D. Vance.

She went home to be with the Lord and Savior at the age of thirty-seven on October 23, 2023 in Birmingham, Alabama. She was a loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt and friend to all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Dorothy Britton and Melvin D. Vance; and her sister, Jasmine Britton.

Beautiful and treasured memories will forever be cherished by: her two sons, Justin Britton and Emell Peavy, Jr; one daughter, Jasmine Hall; four brothers, Andre (JaQuiese) Britton, Corey (Anne Carino) Britton, Melvin Dusty (Nichelle Nicole Kline) Vance II and Jarvis Britton; two sisters, Latasha (DeMarquies Frazier) Holder and Jelisa Lyman; six nieces, Megan Britton, Jordan Frazier, Arianna Vance, Isabella Lyman, Gabrielle Lyman, and Olivia Lyman; seven nephews, Anthony Holder, Jr., Deontay Holder, John Parker Britton, Andre Britton, Jr., Melvin Dusty Vance III, Donald Lyman Jr., and August Vance; her best friend, Frank Henderson; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
