Mr. Artie Lee "T" Wynn began life's journey on May 19, 1930, to the parentage of Walter Wynn, Sr. and Effie Keith Wynn in Childersburg, Alabama. At an early age he confessed Christ as his Lord & Savior, uniting with the Sweet Home Baptist Church. Artie was united in the bonds of holy matrimony to Alberta Jemison. This union was blessed with the birth of six children however, they also assumed responsibility of two nieces that they loved and raised as their very own children.

On Monday, March 17, 2014, he surrendered his mortal life and took onimmortality at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center. God in His special way, at His perfect time, picked from our midst this sweet and caring soul and added him to His heavenly garden, where his spirit will bloom forever. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Walter and Effie Wynn, Sr.; his siblings, Almeta Lynch, Early Wynn, Willie George "Dank" Wynn, Annie Louise "Jug" Johnson, Pauline "Sue" Turner and Billy "Tot" Wynn. Loving memories of "T" will forever be cherished by: his wife, Mrs. Alberta Wynn of Munford, Alabama; his children, Earlie (Herman) Douthard of Ohatchee, Alabama, Mary (Reginald) Mitchell of Hopkins, South Carolina, Helen Wynn of Rochester, New York, Harvey Lee Wynn of Munford, Alabama, Gwendolyn (Eddie) McEwen of Madison, Alabama, Vanessa (Charles) Chatman of Oxford, Alabama, Priscilla (Darryl) Hammonds of Huntsville, Alabama and Towanda (Jay) Foster of Las Vegas, Nevada; his brothers, Walter Wynn, Jr. and John Wynn, both of Munford, Alabama; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
