Brenda Agatha Colston entered into this world on July 18, 1959 in Mobile, Alabama to Beverly Abney Colston and Charles Colston, Sr. She accepted Christ as her person Savior early in life and was a faithful member of Pine Avenue Church of God. She remained active until her passing. Even though she was ill, she was determined to attend her church until she was physically unable.

Brenda was a proud 1977 graduated of Anniston High School. After graduation, she went on to complete culinary courses, winning several cooking awards. Brenda had a heart of gold and a smile to match. She found great joy in helping others which led her to complete the training to become a Certified Nurses Assistant. She retired as a monitor tech from Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center.

Those left to cherish her love and legacy are: her daughter, LaToya Colston; her granddaughter, Maya Grace Jackson; two sisters, Marilyn (Kenneth) Way and Karon (Dwight) Fowler; two brothers, Charles (Toria) Colston, Jr and Michael (Michelle) Colston; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
