Obituary

Carrie Mae Bush was born on March 12, 1928 to the parentage of Rabie Winters Nixon and George Burney. She was an active member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church until her health began to fail. She served as Mission President, Sunday School Superintendent, Sunday School Teacher, a member of the Usher Board, choir and finance committee.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, John D. Bush; parents. Rabie Nixon, Arthur Nixon and George Burney; two sons, George and Dennis; one daughter, Carol; two brothers, Hollis and Jerome; two sisters, Jeanette and Mildred; two grandchildren, Mario and Ariel.

She leaves precious and special memories to be shared by: her six sons, Andrew (Debra), Charles, Lafayette (Verdell), Johnny, Ray and Earl, all of Anniston; six daughters, Dazarine, Baltimore, Maryland, Sharon (Todd), Indianapolis, Indiana, Shelia (Lucious), Kosciusko, Mississippi, Janet (Jimmy), Charlotte (Walter), Johnetta, all of Anniston; three sisters, Geraldine (Arthur), Buffalo, Verna Mae (Will), Kosciusko, Mississippi and Quintonie, Anniston, Alabama; one brother, Arthur (Laverne), Cleveland, Ohio; and many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great, great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
