Charles Edward Goggins, Jr. was born on November 27, 1956 to the parentage of Charles Edward & Claudette Goggins, Sr.

He confessed his personal faith in God and made a committment to Jesus. He was a graduate of Anniston High School.He pursued his passion for music that started with the saxophone in the Anniston High School marching band. He went on to graduate from Ayers Community College with a degree in carpentry. He utilized his skills with Community Action, Homeland Security and FEMA.

On March 30, 1996, Charles united in holy matrimony to Bonnie Robinson.

He departed this earthly life on May 10, 2015. He leaves to treasure his loving memory, his wife, Bonnie Goggins; his son, Charles Dunson; his stepson, Jonathan Elston; two sisters, Bernice Goggins Murphy and Patricia Sledge; two brothers, Terry (Vivian) Goggins and Earnest Goggins; and a host of other family members and friends.
