Charles Warren Moore, Sr. (a.k.a.—Chaos) was born on February 4, 1945 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Mr. Willis Mack Moore, Sr. and Mrs. Gussie Harper Moore. He was educated in the Birmingham School System, graduating from Jackson-Olin high School. Charles served in the United States Army for 22 years. After retiring, he dedicated his time to the Park Recreational Department and The Head Start Program of Alabama.

At an early age, Charles gave his life to Christ and joined Abyssinia Missionary Baptist Church. after serving in the military, Charles was stationed at Fort McClellan, Alabama; he served at St. Paul C.M.E. Church, Jacksonville, Alabama where he was a faithful Sunday School and Bible School Teacher, and at New Hope Baptist Church under the direction of Pastor Reverend Parker.

On Friday, June 17, 2022, he departed his earthly life and joined his lord and Savior in a life eternal while at the RMC hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, two daughters and several siblings.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his faithful and loving wife, Bessie Williams Moore of 34 years; six sons, Thessius Moore, Atlanta, GA, Guido (Melissa) Moore, Jacksonville, AL Charles W. Moore, Jr., Piedmont, AL, Willie C. Thompson, Roderick D. Thompson, and Brian K. Thompson, all of Anniston, AL; six brothers, Wayne (Cynthia) Moore, Birmingham, AL, Ortez (Gladys) Moore, Alexander Parks, Sr., Donald Parks, Willis Moore, Jr., George Butler, all of Detroit, MI; three sisters, Peggy Belin of Birmingham, AL, Marie Parks of Detroit, MI, and Christine (Victor) Bullock of Manteca, CA; 15 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; four brothers-in-law, James C. (Sandri) Williamson, Biloxi, MS, John (Veronica) Williamson, Lompoc, CA, Nathaniel l. Williamson, Tuscaloosa, AL, and James Thompson, Anniston, AL; five sisters-in-law, Mary (Howard) Terry, Phenix City, AL, Doris (Charles) Pitts, Jacksonville, AL, Isola Thompson, Ruby Twyman, and Louise Readen, all of Anniston, AL; a host of nieces and nephews; and his best friend, Tommy l. Dunham, Oxon Hill, MD.
