Charlotte Faye Carpenter Dobbins was born January 8, 1959 in Jacksonville, Alabama to the parentage of Oscar and Pauline Carpenter.

She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and joined the First Baptist Church Jacksonville. She was educated and graduated from Jacksonville High School in 1977.

On February 5, 2016, at her home in Weaver, Alabama, God at His special time, picked from our midst this beautiful rose and added her to His heavenly garden, where her spirit will bloom forever.

Memories of Charlotte will forever remain in the hearts of: her children, Michael and Kandi Dobbins; her sisters, Angeline Landry, Margaret Johnson and Gwendolyn Walker, all of Jacksonville, Alabama; her brothers, Oscar (Theresa) Carpenter of DeRidder, Louisiana, Ronald Ben (Mary) Carpenter of Spokane, Washington, Thomas Carpenter of Jacksonville, Alabama and Ricky (Barbara) Carpenter of Valdosta, Georgia; her special friends, John Elwood Dobbins III and Crystal Gissendanner; and a host of other relatives and friends.
