Obituary

Mrs. Earnestine Odessa English Furr, daughter of the late Rev. Ollie English and Augustine Funderburg Engilish was born June 12, 1953 in Anniston, Alabama. She was the second of fourteen children. Earnestine accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Westview Baptist Church under the pastorage of her father, Rev. Ollie English, Sr.She enjoyed singing and was a member of the choir. She also loved to cook and sew.

She departed this earthly life on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Jackson Hopital in Montgomery, Alabama. She leaves to cherish her memories: two sons, Michaels A. (Laetitia) Goodman  of Germany and Kenneth L. (Valerie) Goodman of Montgomery, Alabama; one daughter, Patina N. (Claude) March of California; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; six brothers, Ollie (Willie Mae) English, Jr., Woodrow (Cheryl) English, Mark English, Frank English, Stephen English and Tim (Tonya) English; five sisters, Susan English, Sandra Wright, Teresa English, Audrey (William) Hopkins and LaDonna (Edward) Mullen; and a host of other relatives and friends.
