George Noye, Jr. was born to the parentage of Rev. George and Rosie Noye in Autaugaville, Alabama. He was the ninth of fifteen children. He confessed Christ at an early age and united with the Peace and Goodwill Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. James Lamar. He was ordained a deacon at the age of twenty-three. After moving to Anniston, he united with the Greater Thankful Baptist Church, where he was a faithful member until his health began to fail.

On July 3, 2014, Deacon Noye went home to be with the Lord. He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving and devoted wife, Eddie Noye; his daughter, Corene English; his son, William Elston, Sr. thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; two great, great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
