Mr. James Oliver Brown was born March 4, 1933 inPrattville, Alabama to the parentage of Oliver and Matilda Jones Brown.

He met and married Georgia Mae Miller in 1955 and to this union one daughter was born. James was employed with Alabama Water Pipe, Lee Brass and, he retired from Union Foundry after dedicating 43 years of service to the workforce.

James peacefully departed this earthly life on April 30, 2015 at the Golden Living Healthcare facility. He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his loving and devoted wife, Georgia Mae Brown of Munford, Alabama; one daughter, Carolyn (Rev. Dennis) McKinney of Munford, Alabama; four sisters, Queen Irvin of Prattville, Alabama, Jean Alice (Lee) Townsend and Annie B. Brown of Birmingham, Alabama; four grandsons, Robert David, Dominique McKinney, Grabriel McKinney and Dontavious McKinney; four great grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Willie (Mary) Miller; four sisters- in-law, Alva Chatman, Betty Miller, Susie (Robert) Bush and Johnnie Miller; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
