Rev. James E. Porter was preceded in death by: his wife, Eddie Lee Porter; his parents, Charlie and Louise Porter, Sr.; his brother, Willie C. Porter; and his sister, Joetta Porter Thomas. Loving memories will always be cherished by: his son, Major (Jeanetta) Porter; his daughter, Beverly Cox; two grandchildren, Chanel and Brandon; one great-granson, Zion; two brothers, Charlie (Mary) Porter and Freddie (Wilma) Porter; four brothers-in-law, George (Nancy) Bailey, Larry (Gloria) Holden, Nease (Shirley) Owens and Elisha Thomas; and his sister-in-law, Polly B. Porter.
