Mr. Jessie E "Big Six" Harris, Jr. was born December 31, 1942 in Calhoun County, Alabama to the parentage of Jessie Harris, Sr. and Farris English Harris.

He enlisted and served his country in the United States Army. After serving in the Army, he worked at the Anniston Army Depot as a Division Chief and retired after thirty years. He was united in holy matrimony to Mary Helen Howard and to this union three sons were born.

His memories will forever be cherished by: his loving wife, Mary Helen Harris; his sons, Kevin E. Harris. Emmanuel E. Harris and Timothy L. Harris; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
