Jessie Clem Williams was born on June 12, 1942 to the parentage of Jessie and Mary Williams. He graduated from Eastwood High School in 1967. He received his B.A. Degree in Theology in May 2013 and was pursuing his Master's Degree from San Antonio Theological College at the time of his death. Jesse attended and was a very active member of First Grace Baptist Church in San Antonio, Texas. After graduation, Jessie honorably served his country in the United States Air force. During his service, he received numerous medals and commendations before his retirement in 1987. Jessie had a very strong love for music. He will always be remembered as a strong, caring,l loving and supportive, yet firm family man.
Jessie departed this life on January 13, 2014 while visiting his home in Jacksonville, Alabama. Loving memories of Jessie will always remain with: his sons, Jhosef Kwame Butler and Jason (Angela) Davis; his daughter, Veronical Williams; his former spouse, Carolyn Kenzslowe; his sisters, Margaret (William) Smith, Mary Burnett and Onna Williams; his brothers, L.C. Jomes, David (Patricia) Williams, Victor (Brenda) Williams, Tim Williams, and Curtis (Rene) Williams; his grandson, Caden Davis; and a host of other family members and friends.
