Mr. Jimmy Turner, Jr. passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2012. He was born on October 9, 1944 to the late Mr. Jimmie and Mrs. Jamie Turner, Sr. in Anniston, Alabama.

As a lifelong resident of Anniston, Jimmy was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. He was employed by Alabama Power Company for 35 years; he also worked for Stringfellow Memorial Hospital for 15 years.

Jimmy was a devoted husband, father, brother and friend. He will be truly missed. Those surviving him are: his wife, Mrs. Shirley A. Turner; five daughters, LaTammetice (Oscar) Ridgeway, Valerie P. Turner, Karen (Clement) Doniere, Tracy (Van) Turner and Quienetta Turner; two sons, Roderick Turner and Michael Turner; a brother, Ralph (Charlotte) Turner; a nephew, Brandon A. Turner; his stepmother, Mrs. Josephine Turner; and a host of other relatives and friends.
