Joanett Cunningham was born on December 13, 1942, to the late Winnie Allen Heard and John Allen in Wedowee, Alabama. Joanett departed this earthly life, led in Heavenly flight by the Angels, on February 11, 2023, in Savannah, Georgia.

Early in life, she confessed Christ as her lord and Savior, uniting with first Missionary Baptist Church in Anniston, Alabama. Joanett was a dedicated member of Thomas A. Williams Elks Lodge. Joanett worked in payroll at Union foundry, retiring in 2009 after working there for 30 plus years

. Joanett was preceded in death by her husband, Willie F. Cunningham; her mother, Winnie Heard; her father, John Allen; her granddaughter, Latoya Quattropani; her sister, Mary Lewis; and her brother-in-law, Roger Lemon; and great-aunt, Alice Radney.

Joanett leaves to cherish her beloved memories and share her love, her children: Thomas Macon, Mynjuan Jones, Andrea Quattropani (Mark), and Timothy Macon (Tracy); her sisters, Brenda Murphy (Herman), Beryse Jones (David), and Sharon Lemon; her grandchildren, Michael Macon (Justice), Erica Macon, Devon Macon, and Allie Jones; her great-grandchildren: Olivia Macon and Elaine Macon; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and special friends
