John Wesley "Breeze" Elston, Jr. was born on September 10, 1945 to the parentage of Wesley andVera Elston in Anniston, Alabama.

John confessed Christ at an early age. He graduated from Cobb High School in 1965. After graduation, he served in th United States Army. He worked at U.S. Central Castings and was a member of the Elks Lodge. Hewas united in holy matrimony to Dorothy Heard, who preceded him in death.

On Saturday, May 3, 2014, John passe away at the Norhteast Alabama REgional Medical Center. Precious memories will always be treasured by: his daughter, Katrina Elston; his granddaughter, Katrice Elston; his siblings, Irene Brady, Willie Mae Foster, Mary (Press) Pope, and Iona Abroms; and a host of other loving realtives and friends.
