Kelvin Lamar Hughley was born on April 18, 1978 in Calhoun County, Alabama and spent his life in Anniston, where he was surrounded by the love of his family and community. Known affectionately as "Snoop", he was admired for his laid back nature, warm spirit, and his ability to light up any room.

Kelvin's life was a testament to the power of kindness and the importance of family. He was a devoted father, son, brother, and a true friend to many. His love for his family and friends was evident in everything he did, and he was always there to offer a helping hand or a listening ear.

Kelvin is survived by: his children,Keyunnah Hughley,Kelvin Hughley, Jr., Sakaiya Walker, and Sakani Walker; his mother, Linda Hughley; his siblings, Patrick (Vickie) Hughley, Carlos Hughley, Delvin (Carmela) Hughley; his step-sister, Ramonica Hill; his nephews, Jordan Ocana, Darius Hughley, Raymond Ocana, Delvin (Quen) Veasley, and Isaiah Ocana; his nieces, Maya Hughley and Zariah Orr; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins to carry his legacy forward. He is also survived by his best friend, Montague Braxton.

He was preceded in death by: his father, Daniel Hughley; his grandparents, Otis and Alma Hughley, Willie Barlow, Sr. and Ethel Steele Barlow.
