Laura Everett Ross was born in Fayette County, Alabama on March 15, 1926 to her parents, Lonnie and Laura Everett. She was the last living of ten siblings.
She was happily married to Webster Daniel Ross, Sr. for sixty-nine years. This union was blessed with six children.
She was a faithful member and servant of Haven united Methodist Church for over sixty years.
She was a practical nurse and worked with Dr. James Williams, Jr. and helped heal the body and spirit of many people for many years. She was a pillar of the community and continued her earthly service by sharing and caring for anyone who crossed her path. She was an avid gardener. She truly believed and lived the scripture, Hebrews 13:16: "and do not forget to share with others, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God".
She was preceded in death by: two children, Chester Lee Everett and Peggy Ann Everett. Loving and precious memories remain with: her children, Dennis E. Ross, Teresa Ross Hall, Webster Daniel Ross, Jr. and Phyllis Ross Freeman; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great, great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
