Lester Weatherspoon was born on April 26, 1964 to Mr. Coleman Casselberry and Mrs. Beatrice McMillian Weatherspoon in Calhoun County, Alabama. Lester gave his life to Christ at an early age. Lester was a fun-loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many. He was a strong-headed and determined man, but most of all, his kindness and love for the Lord will be greatly missed, but always remembered. He was a considerate and compassionate person who always cared for those around him.
Lester was preceded in death by: his loving mother, Mrs. Beatrice McMillian Weatherspoon; his grandparents, Luther, Sr. and Emma McMillian; and a brother, Chester Weatherspoon.
Lester leaves to cherish his loving memories: a dedicated, loving and caring fiancé, Yvonne Thomas; two sons, Jaalyn Isaiah "Debo" Mallard and Lester Carter; one daughter, NyKea Jones; one granddaughter, A'Xiyah Williams; a loving, caring and dedicated goddaughter, Brittney D'von; siblings, Jerome (Ruth) Weatherspoon, Michael A (LaDreka) Weatherspoon, Annette (Reginald, Sr.) Jairrels, Glenda Weatherspoon, Jimmy L Weatherspoon and Dwight (Tanya) Weatherspoon; his aunt and uncles, Rosetta Teague, Luther McMillian, Jr. and William L. McMillian; and a host of niece, nephews, other relatives and friends.
