Margaret Ann Woodard was born on July 14, 1950 to the parentage of Daniel Clay and Ever Nell Richey in Talladega, Alabama.

She accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Parker Memorial Baptist Church in Eastaboga, Alabama. She later moved to Anniston and united with the Seventeenth Street Missionary Baptist Church.

She received her education in the Talladega City School System and graduated from Ophelia S. Hill High School in 1970. After completing high school, she was employed at the Battle House and Morrison's Café. Later, she worked for the State of Alabama providing child care. After that she was employed by and retired from Johnson Elementary School where she served as a Food Service Worker.

She met Clyde Woodard and they were married on April 6, 1972. Two children were born to this union.

On Monday, July 8, 2024, she answered the Master's call at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center in Anniston, Alabama. Loving and beautiful memories will always remain in the hearts of: her son, Curtis (La Sonya) Woodard of Spartanburg, South Carolina; her daughter, Latress Woodard of Anniston, Alabama; her grandson, James Brown of Anniston, Alabama; her brother, Arnold Richey of Knoxville, Tennessee; her sisters, Rosa Nell (Samuel) Whatley of Anniston, Alabama, Debra Jean Johnson of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Marquilla (Marvin) Gooden of Talladega, Alabama; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Clyde Woodard; parents, Daniel Clay Richey, Sr. and Ever Nell Richey; her brothers, Daniel Clay Richey, Jr., Timothy Richey, and John Henry Richey; and her sister, Mary Nell Lee.
