Marian Presstine "Sue" Crumb was born in Calhoun County, Alabama on July 2, 1950 to the late Willie and Everlener Lee. She graduated from Cobb High School, class of 1968, where she was an active athlete in cheerleading, softball and basketball. She graduated from Gadsden Business College in 1987. She was one of the founding members of the Mahogany Social and Savings Club. She was baptized and joined the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. She served as Youth Department Supervisor and helped to mold and nurture many children into productive and spiritual adults. She served as a Sunday School teacher. She was a member of the floral board and worked on both the Mary Campbell and Senior Usher Board. She was a member of Abundant Life Outreach Ministry. She was a faithful and committed servant of the Lord. She was an employee at Calhoun County Health Department for 25 years. Prior to that, she worked at Brian Togg Manufacturing in Hobson City.

On Saturday, September 21, 2013, Marian answered God's call to eternal rest. She was perceded in death by: her son, Stacy Lee; her parents, Willie and Everlener Lee and her sister, Cernetta Martin. She leaves to cherish her memory: her daughter, NaShonda Carter; her grandson, RaShaud Drake; two step-daughters, Constance Carter and Tongeay Heath; one brother, Rev. Willie (Ava) Lee; nieces, nephews and a host of family, extended family and friends.
