Mrs. Mary Lois Glover was born in Fort Deposit, Alabama on September 22, 1922 to the union of Harrison Crosskey and Adel Lampkin.

Mary married Phillip Glover, Jr.on February 5, 1944 in Birmingham, Alabama. To this union nine children were born.

She departed this life on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at her home in Anniston, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband; two children; her parents and three siblings. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Phillip glover III (Barbara), Annie R. Brown (Carlton), Leroy Glover, Catherine Wade, Theodore Glover (Wanda), Dr. Willie J. Glover and Yvonne C. Glover; ten grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; two sisters, Drucilla C. Buskey and Willene C. Jackson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
