Patricia was born on November 24, 1944 to Mrs. Sally Morris in Anniston, Alabama. She attended Cobb Avenue high School, where she was a majorette in the band.

She accepted Christ at an early age at Friendship Baptist Church. Later, she became a pillar member of Greater Thankful Baptist Church. She held positions such as Honorary Usher Board President and Youth Program Coordinator.

Patricia was married to Glenn M. Elston and to this union, two daughters were born. Preceding her in death was: her loving grandparents, Lum and Mattie H. Sullivan.

Precious and loving memories remain with: her daughters, Lollisa E. (Kenny) Deramus of Fayetville, North Carolina and Deneen Elston; four grandchildren, Patrena T. Martin (Keith), Darris S. Martin (London) Cedric L. Mason, Jr.,Rroderick D. Mason (Rashawnda), all of Atlanta, Georgia; three great grandchildren, Kajuan Bowie, Zachary Williams, Daivon Martin, all of Atlanta, Georgia; her devoted mother, Sally Morris of Anniston, Alabama; five siblings, Gwendolyn Castlin (Eugene), Alphonso Morris, Rev. Douglas Bender (Susie), Fannieta Dade and Audrey Gardner; and a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
