Mrs. Reva Nell Mallory Weeks Nee Godwin was born to the parents of Knox and Alla Godwin Nee Jenkins in Silverrun, Alabama on January 24, 1929. She confessed her hope in Christ and was a member of the Mount Olive Seventh Day Adventist Church, where she was a faithful member.

Always willing to serve, she worked as a nurse's Assistant for many years.

On Friday, March 8, 2025, she transitioned peacefully to her heavenly home. She was preceded in death by: her children, Janet Jackson, Carolyn Mallory, Anthony Mallory, Barbara Weeks, Richard Mallory and Willie Weeks, Jr.; her grandchildren, Arthur Mathews, Charles Mathews, Jr., Derrick Mallory, Jr.; her great-grandson, Ryan Mallory; her siblings, Audrey Furlow, Mary L. Adams, Barbara Johnson, Alva L. McCoy, Gwendolyn Moore, Knox Godwin, Jr. and Howard Godwin; and her sons-in-law, Henry Ragland and Charles Mathews, Sr.

She leaves to cherish her beautiful memories: four daughters, Dorothy Ragland, Ella Diane Mathews, Brenda (Arthur) Shepherd and Linda Mallory; her grandchildren, Tomsietta Wright, Melodee (Pope) Johnson, Rae Wright, Brenten (Anita) Mathews, Jimmy Jackson, Jr., Portia Wright, Darrellyne Jackson, Dorothy Lange, Antwone Mallory, Andre Mallory, Tiffany Oriakhi, Renee Mallory, Chante' (Jaime) Franco and Tiffany (Rashad) Tarpley, DeAndre Weeks and Breanna Weeks; her son-in-law, rev. Jimmy Jackson, Sr.; her daughter-in-law, Crystal Weeks; her closest friends, Mamie B., Willie C., Gary F., Loretta S., Ernestine L., Mary F. and Sidney L; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
