Mr. Ricky "Ricky Rock" Moore was born on February 26, 1951 in Roanoke, Alabama to the parentage of Earnest Lee and Beatrice Moore. His parents moved to Anniston in 1953. Ricky attended Anniston City Schools and graduated from Cobb Avenue High School in 1969. He also attended Jacksonville State University. He worked a variety of jobs but retired from North American Bus Industries (NABI) in 2013.

Ricky loved horses, motor bikes and old cars. He inherited the skill to work on any model car from his father and earned extra money for doing so. After his retirement from NABI, he dabbled in selling used cars and had a small car lot.

His memories will now be cherished by: his parents, Earnest Lee and Beatrice Moore; two brothers, John Earnest (Bernadette) and Fredrick (Beverly); two sisters, Amelia Smith and Hope (Douglas) Joseph. His daughter, Pamela, resides in Dallas, Texas and his daughter, LaTasha, preceded him in death in 2010. He also leaves nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
