Mr. Ronnie Lamar Diamond began this journey of life on November 14, 1981 to the parentage of Mr. Joe Van and Olivia Diamond.

He attended Piedmont High School where he was an outstanding football and basketball player. He later attended Meadowbrook High School in Richmond, Virginia, where he received his high school diploma in 2000.

Ronnie, at an early age, accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, was baptized and became a member of the Mount Olive Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Dr. John S Nettles. He was also under the leadership of his youth pastor, Reverend Kyser Whatley, who was a very influential person and someone he looked up to, as he looked up to the both of them for leadership and guidance.

As the Lord our God was picking flowers in the garden on Friday September 2nd, 2022, God at that time chose to look down and choose to call his son Ronnie back home to be with Him. Yes, he was loved by many in and around Calhoun County and even into the West Georgia area. if you knew him, you had no choice but to love him. He loved God and he most definitely loved his family and his friends. But one thing is for sure, God loved him best and called His servant that day to rest from his labor, for his good works would follow him.

He leaves to cherish his precious life and the great fond memories hidden in their hearts forever more: his loving and caring father and mother, Joe Van and Olivia Diamond of Piedmont, Alabama; a loving and caring big-hearted sister, Shunquilla Diamond of Piedmont, Alabama; a great host of special uncles, aunts, cousins, and close friends who he loved dearly and left a lasting impact on for many years to come.

Ronnie was preceded in death b:y his grandmothers, Christine Diamond and Evelyn Phillips; his aunties, Hattie Mae Ellis and Connie Diamond; and his half-sister, Chiquita Threatt.
