Rowena was born April 17, 1961 and was a graduate of Jacksonville High School, after which she attended Jacksonville State University. She then enlisted in the united States Navy. She accepted Christ at an early age and joined the First Baptist Church, Jacksonville, Alabama. Preceding her in death was her grandmothers, Mrs. Ottis Hughes Nixon and Mrs. Stella Siders; her uncle, Jeffery Sewell, and aunt, Josephine Sewell. Cherishing her memories will be one daughter, Laura (Davion) Siders Steagall; one son, Cameron Justin Siders; two grandchildren, Lamiah and Loriona Steagall, Jacksonville, Alabama; a devoted mother, Mrs. Deloise Keith, Jacksonville, Alabama; father, Mr. Earl Siders, Sr., San Antonio, Texas; five siblings, Earl Siders, Jr., Rosalind Siders, Andrea Siders and Zita Siders, all of Jacksonville, Alabama; five uncles, Paul (Juanita) Nixon, Sr. of Albany, Georgia, Aaron (Mary) Nixon, Sr., Vernon Steward, Sevelle Siders and John Hampton Steward, all of Detroit, Michigan; three aunts, Latrisa Siders, Sarah Siders, Brenda (Clarence) Wooten of San Antonio, Texas; a dear friend, Mrs. Pearl Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
