Mrs. Ruby White Owens was born January 15, 1954 to the late Matthew White and Ruth Freeman White McGuire.

On March 2, 2022, Ruby went to be with the Lord. She leaves to cherish her memories: her sons, Bobby C. (Cher) White of Anniston, Al and Adam Elston Goodman of Birmingham, Al; two grandchildren, Bobby C. (Aricka) White II, of Ft Hood, Tx and Valencia M. White, of Huntsville, Al; three great-grandchildren: Karson, India, and Kamorah White; sisters, Pearlie W. (John) Dunson of Anniston, Al, Dian W. (Clarence) Groce of Huntsville, Al and Brenda White of Anniston, Al; brothers, Joe White, Mosses White, and Jackie (Tonya) White all of Anniston, Al; and a host of close family and friends.

She is preceded in death by: her son, Artis James "AJ" Owens, III.

The family gratefully acknowledges the many acts of love and kindness shown to them during their time of bereavement. A very special word of "thanks" to New Beacon Southern Care Hospice.
