Ms. Green was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Hobson City. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Golden Living Health Care Center in Oxford, Alabama.

Survivors include: her daughter and son-in-law, Demetria and Vinson Houston; two grandchildren, Trent Houston and Trinity Houston; sisters, Dorothy Smith, Audrey (Elijah) Moore, Jacqueline (Wendell) Neville, Loretta (Lynn) Hanna and Cheryl (James) Johnson; brothers, Carthell (Patricia) Green and Charles (Margaret) Green; and a host of other relatives and friends.
