Mr. Thomas Lewis Parker began life's journey on May 22, 1936 to the parentage of Mr. Willie Story and Mrs. Martha Dean Parker-Veasley in Jacksonville, Alabama.

Thomas confessed Christ at an early age as his Lord and personal Savior and was baptized at St. Paul C.M.E. Church in Jacksonville, Alabama.

On Tuesday, May 14, 2024, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and dear friend answered the Master's call at his home in Jacksonville, Alabama. God in His special way, at His perfect time, picked from our midst this beautiful soul and added him to His heavenly garden where his spirit will bloom forever.

Thomas will be truly missed but never forgotten. His memories will forever be cherished by his loving family and friends. He leaves to cherish: his daughter Tredia Marie Reicaglderfer of California; two sons, Fernandics Parker of Jacksonville, Alabama and Victor (Clivett) Parker of Anniston, Alabama; two stepdaughters, Shelia (Martin) Auzenne and Jean Atkins Smith of California; one stepson, Saul (Paulemette) Atkins of New York; two sisters, Eula Salter and Louise Veasley of Jacksonville, Alabama; 2 brothers, Lenn (Joyce) Veasley and Benjamin Veasley of Jacksonville, Alabama; grandchildren, Narissa Hamilton and Ozjuan Bowie; great-grandchildren, Devon and Demetrius Hamilton; and daughter-in-law, Betty Parker; and a host of loving nieces, nephews and many friends who will greatly miss him.

He was proceeded in death by: his parents, Willie Story and Martha Parker-Veasley; wife, Elizabeth Parker; son, Thomas Parker Jr.; grandson Thomas Parker III; and sister, Cora Snow.
