Mr. Ullis C. Hall, Sr. was born on February 23, 1939 in Anniston, Alabama to the parentage of Clifford, Sr. and Mable Hall.
He dedicated his life to Christ and united with the Greater Thankful Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. PQ English, where he was a faithful deacon until his health failed.
Ullis was united in holy matrimony to Lena Mae Elston and to this union three children were born. He worked as a millwright at Union Foundry and M & H Valve. He also worked at Walmart, where he retired after 25 years of service. His favorite hobbies were frying fish and repairing lawn mowers.
On Thursday, December 12, 2024, Ullis answered the Master's call at Diversicare of Oxford. He was preceded in death by: his wife, Lena Mae Elston Hall; his parents, Clifford Hall, Sr. and Mable Hall; his siblings, Clifford Hall, Jr., Calvin Hall, Ross Hall, Ellabell Hall, Mary Louise Hall and Bill Ray Hall; and his daughter-in-law, Regina Hall.
Loving and precious memories are treasured by: his sons, Ullis C. (Edna) Hall, Jr. and Minister Valentino Hall, both of Anniston, Alabama; his daughter, Leanette Hall of Anniston, Alabama; his sister, Grace Hall of Cleveland Ohio; his grandchildren; his in-laws, Paul Elston, Ruby McCrary, Eddie (David) Satcher, Odessa Moore, and Wille Campbell; and a host of nieces, nephew, cousins, and friends.
