Obituary

Weldon Williams Sr., was born on February 4, 1926 in Ft. Payne, Alabama to the parentage of Thomas Williams Sr. and Gertie Mae Glover. He confessed Christ at an early age and united with the Mount Olive Seventh Day Adventist Church, where he served as a deacon. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was united in holy matrimony to Susie R. Orr and to this union three children were born. He leaves to cherish him memory: two sons, Weldon (Beverly) Williams and Timothy Williams; two daughters, Ranetta Peters and Sandra (Mike) Dixon; two sisters-in-law, Regina Williams and Odessa Taylor; eighteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; five nieces; seven nephews; some very special friends, Lula Carpenter, Charles Ferrell, Alice Ruth Landis and Dr. N.Q. Reynolds.
