On June 5,2024 in Houston, Texas William Lloyd known to family as Bill and to friends as Lucky Lloyd passed away from his battle with cancer. William was born to the late Ora Lee Lloyd (Jones) on August 12, 1956, in Anniston, Alabama. William was part of Cobb High's graduating class of 1974.

William was preceded in death by: his grandparents Edward Sr. and Gertrude Lloyd; mother, Ora Lee Jones; and younger brother, Reginald Jones Sr. His wife, Linda Gail Lloyd, passed away after his passing.

He leaves behind: his two sons, Cedric (Tarsha) Wright and William Antonio Lloyd, both of Anniston, Alabama; his daughter, Jasmon Lloyd-Truss; his loving sister, Geraldine (Johnathan Sr.) Hardy of Pearland, Texas; his youngest brother, Darryl Jones of Richmond, Virginia; three grandsons; two great-granddaughters; nieces and nephews.
