Irma Williams Obituary

Irma Marie Williams was born November 23, 1955 in Queens, New York to the union of Herbert James Brown and Willie Mae Ruth Timmons. Irma was a loving daughter, mother, wife, grandmother, great grandmother., sister and aunt. Irma enjoyed her career in food service management, which she retired from at Fort McClellan. After retirement, Irma spent her free time with the Steel Magnolias of Anniston, Alabama and with the Order Of The Eastern Star.

Later in life, Irma joined New Birth Christian Center where she was a faithful member until her health and the COVID-19 pandemic prevented her from attending. Her main joys in life were photography, cinema, cuisine, family, sewing, fashion, friends, and her Yorkies, Diamond and Ralph.

Irma departed her earthly journey on April 8, 2021. Irma was preceded in death by her husband, Noah Williams Jr; mother, Willie Mae Ruth Timmons; father, Herbert James Brown; sister, Betruely Brown; and niece, Kim Williams. 

Irma will truly be missed, but never forgotten. Her memories will forever be cherished by: one son, Noah Williams, III of Los Angeles, California; two daughters, Lisa Williams of Albany, Georgia and Ebony Bitticks of South Carolina; seven grandchildren, Shandria Bitticks, Treyveon Sullivan, Unique Sullivan, Synovia Walker, Brittany Walker, and ViShun Walker; seven great-grandchildren, Avery Walker, Ally Walker, Kole Walker, Zyon Walker, Bryson Raines, Christopher Young, Caden Young; three sisters, Sadie Marie Bispham of Lithonia, Georgia, Ruthie Brown and Zenobia Brown of Freeport, New York; two brothers-in-law, Larry Williams and John Williams; three sisters-in-law, Stella Sullivan, Juanita (Karl) Brown, and Gloria Mims; seven nieces, Chermaine Hicks, LaKissy Brown, Candice Walker, Nadine Walker , Faye Boozer, Precious Boozer, Ursula Ransom, Safria English-Sims; two nephews, Treavond Brown and Herbert Brown; along with a host of other cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
