Linda Jean Baker Hill was born in Franklin, Georgia to the parentage of the late John L. and Mary Houston Baker. She was educated in the Cleburne County School System and was a graduate of Cleburne County High School.
Linda was united in holy matrimony to Michael ray Hill on June 8, 2007 in Anniston, Alabama.
She was a faithful member of the Oak Grove Worship Center, where she enjoyed doing missionary work. She was an advocate member of the culinary and pastoral ministry.
She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. She loved attending Sunday School, singing in the choir, traveling to different places, horseback riding and serving the community.
On November 5, 2019, Linda Jean Baker Hill made the transition from life into the presence of God. She leaves memories that will forever be cherished in the hearts of her loved ones: her husband,Bishop Michael Ray Hill; her children, Charisma L. Holloway of Heflin, Alabama, Kandrika A. Braclay of Oxford, Alabama; her stepchildren, Davida Appleby of Lineville, Alabama, Destiny A. Hill of Lineville, Alabama and Derrick (Della) Hill of Grand Valley, California; her grandchildren, LaNya J. Westbrook and Allanah Scott, both of Oxford, Alabama, Octaria Holloway, Octavia Holloway and Rynell Jones, all of Heflin, Alabama; her brother, John C. Baker of Albany, Georgia; her sisters, Brenda Baker (Claude L.) Johnson of Grayson, Georgia, Darenda Shackleford of Albany, Georgia, Sharlene Knox of Oxford, Alabama and Tracy (Gregory) Copeland of Grayson, Georgia; her god-sister and best friend, Angelia Aaron and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
