Mrs. Tunja Neardine Riley began life's journey on August 20, 1963 to the late Mr. Sylvester Fluker and the late Joann Fluker (Robert Briskey) in Oxford, Alabama.
She confessed Christ as her Lord and personal Savior at an early age. She was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church until 2019, when she became a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor John Oliver, Jr.
Tunja was employed with Shaw Food Services before settling into a career at WalMart, where she worked until her health declined. She was a loving, selfless, kind=hearted mother, grandmother, sister and friend who enjoyed vacationing, playing cards with the Fab 4, and spending holidays with her family.
On Friday, September 30, 2022 she surrendered her mortal life and put on immortality at Regional Medical Center while surrounded by family. God in His special way, at His perfect time, picked from our midst this sweet soul and added her to His heavenly garden, where her spirit will bloom forever.
